Apply nowWe are working with a large Further Education College based in Northampton to recruit within their Construction department, the college also has a GOOD rating graded by OFSTED.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a Full Time/Permanent basis as a Lecturer in Carpentry & Joinery!
The person & qualifications
- Level 3 Carpentry or equivalent
- Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Cert Ed) or equivalent, or willing to work towards
- Industry Experience
- Up to date industry knowledge
- Experience of working within the HE and FE sector (Desirable)
- A1 Assessor (Desirable)
- IQA (Desirable)
Role responsibilities
- Teaching and training students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College
- Assessment of student work
- Development of Curriculum
- Counselling students and maintaining discipline
- Participating in the recruitment of students, including the attendance at Shows and Careers Conventions
- Participating in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure that all learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service and attention at all times
