Lecturer in Patisserie and Professional Cookery, gloucester

Protocol are currently working with a fantastic Gloucestershire based college who have a wide range courses, ranging from Apprenticeships all the way through to Higher Education and taking on students from all over the world.

In 2016 Ofsted rated them ‘Good’ showing a strong dedication to their students well-being and helping them forward in their journey for success whether that be to start their own careers or venture into Higher Education.

They are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Patisserie and professional cookery  to work for them on a 3 months basis.

Role responsibilities

• Teaching and assessing full time students undertaking qualifications in Prof Cook from Level 1 to 3, and Patisserie Level 2 Involving RWE restaurant sessions, skills sessions and theory
• Work with learners to address particular individual learning needs and overcome identified barriers to learning.
• Work closely with colleagues and the Teaching & Learning team to plan and use a range of effective teaching techniques to engage and motivate learners and encourage independence and learner autonomy

The person & qualifications

• Must have Experience in teaching professional cooking 
• Must have a level 3 qualification in professional cookery 
• Must have experience of working in a further education environment 
• Must have a teaching qualification
