Protocol are proud to be working with a Leading Training Provider who are recruiting for an Automotive Operations Manager to lead and support Training Managers and Development Coaches. 

The role is based in the West Midlands with the Salary for this role being £45-50k dependent on experience.

Role responsibilities

  • Profile and operate apprenticeship and commercial aspects of the business as targeted by the Board. Providing oversight of operational performance at monthly and quarterly Board meetings. 
  • Leading and supporting Training Managers and Development Coaches to ensure continuity of training and assessment practice.
  • Put into practice leadership, and associated skills, to deliver Organisational objectives whilst promoting and managing staff performance against business KPI’s 
  • Cooperate with the Curriculum Manager and Lead Quality Assurer to embed a practice of continual improvement, informing the QIP, and affecting change to practice as necessary. 

The person & qualifications

  • Experience in Leadership and possess business acumen of performance and monetary management 
  • A minimum of 3 years Automotive Industry experience
  • A minimum of 3 years Apprenticeship Programme operational management 
  • Strong operational performance experience
  • Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Programme rules
  • Confident and skilled communicator with skills that take them from the Automotive Industry Floor to the FE Sector board.
