Position Overview:
Are you a skilled dressmaker with a passion for teaching? Bolton College is looking for a Dressmaking Tutor to join our dedicated team of educators. As a Dressmaking Tutor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in their journey to master the art of dressmaking, fostering their creativity and nurturing their talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging dressmaking courses, workshops, and practical lessons.
- Provide personalized instruction to students at beginner level.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and innovation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Industry related qualification i.e. in fashion/textiles/dressmaking or similar
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
