Apply nowProtocol is working closely with a Prison based in West Perry in their search for an experienced Esol tutor to deliver to students across a range of levels within the Prison.
The role;
This role is offering Full-time hours on a Permanent basis.
7:45am-5pm Monday-Thursday
7:45am-12pm Fridays
£30,000 p.a.
You will be working within the prison’s education department teaching ESOL students on their courses of study. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best.
The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals who are passionate about the rehabilitation of service users and who have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices in an academic setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.
Have you got what it takes?
- A level 2 Qualification in Maths & English
- A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
- A teaching qualification
- Experience delivering/ Assessing ESOL at a range of levels
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Willing to work within a Prison environment
