IT Tutor,

Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Manchester in their search for an experienced Teacher of IT to deliver IT lessons to students across a range of levels within the college.

The role;

This role is offering Part Time hours on a Temporary basis – 2 hours in the am, 2 in the PM, for one to two days a week.

You will be working within the colleges IT teaching department, supporting, teaching, training and assessing IT students on their courses of study. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college. You will also be teaching basic beginners IT/Next Step and Entry 3/Level 1. You will be delivering this across a variety of college campuses and some community centers, so a driving license is preferred but not essential.

The person;

We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about teaching IT and that have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.

Have you got what it takes?

• A level 3 qualification in IT
• A teaching qualification
• An Assessors Award
• Experience delivering/ Assessing  A-Level IT or Digital Support T Level
• An active Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
