Apply nowProtocol are working with an Education Provider with centres around the country to support in their recruitment for a Catering & Hospitality Tutor to join them on a temporary basis, Monday – Friday full time starting ASAP. This will be at the centre based in Leeds.
The provider help students realise their potential and to gain the skills, knowledge, and experience to progress confidently onto their next steps. This could be further education, training, or work.
They take a unique approach which enables students to learn in their own way and at their own pace. Focussing on certified vocational qualifications, enrichment, employability, maths and English, and work placement opportunities.
Their smaller class sizes, skilled and experienced tutors, practical workshops, and one to one support make this provider stand apart. The Education centres work in partnership with the communities in which they are based, and they collaborate with leading industry experts and local businesses to ensure our courses provide the teaching, skills and learning opportunities students need for the future.

Role responsibilities
- To deliver hospitality and Catering Skills and employability to the Study programme students.
- Behaviour management
- Evaluate and assess the work of learners in relation to the curriculum criteria and provide timely constructive and helpful learner feedback so that learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to progress to their next steps.
- Work with English and Maths teachers to better enhance English and Maths in vocational lesson planning and delivery, and reflect the importance of these subjects in the vocational area.
- Identify and support work placements for learners in industry specialism using guidance, and ensure learning is recorded and reflected in work-placement journals and ILPs (individual learning plan).

- Experience of delivering/training Catering and Hospitality
- Degree
- Teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
