Protocol are proud to be working with an established FE college based in Oldham in their search for an experienced FT Health and Social Care Tutor for a permanent position with a salary of up to £33,800 + £5,000 market supplement

This college are also looking for a Programme Lead for Health and Social Care on a FT basis, with a salary of £39,222 – £40,398 per annum.

Role responsibilities

  • Delivering Health and Social Care to students up to Level 3
  • Provide support within classes and help motivate students within the subject
  • Provide advice for opportunities beyond their time at the college

The leadership role will accompany the above with extra responsibilities for curriculum development &  leading the team in the 16-19 study programmes as well as adult courses and apprenticeships.

The person & qualifications

  • Experienced in delivering Health and Social Care up to level 3 or sufficient teaching/ training experience within industry 
  • Hold a teaching qualification or willing to work towards
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Hold a qualification in Health and Social Care at a minimum of level 3 
  • Experience within industry

The leadership role requires you to have extensive experience in teaching Health and Social Care, hold a teaching qualification, assessor qualification and relevant industry experience within the last 15 years
