Apply nowProtocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Harrow and Uxbridge in their search for Full time or part time permanent GCSE and Functional Skills Maths Lecturers at the Harrow on the Hill and Harrow Weald campus.
£31,357 to £43,729 per annum including London Weighting
We are seeking to appoint full time or part time Lecturers to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths within the cross-College provision, primarily to vocational learners aged 16-18.
This is a challenging but exciting and rewarding area of the College and you would play a key role in supporting our vocational learners with their development and to help them progress onto higher courses or the workplace.
You would join a team of skilled teachers with a wealth of experience and knowledge, who are pro-active in sharing best practice with the team in order to engage and enthuse resit learners.
Have you got what it takes?
- Possesses a degree in a Maths related area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has experience of teaching or tutoring Maths GCSE and/or Functional Skills
- Has the ability to engage and enthuse 16 to 18 year olds from a variety of vocational disciplines.
- Has a teaching qualification or willing to obtain one
- Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service
