Apply nowProtocol are proud to be working with an established FE college based in Bury in their search for an experienced Foundation Learning Tutor for a Full-time temporary position until Christmas initally.
Recently graded as “good” by Ofsted in June 2023 and offering a wide range of courses to over 10,000 students across multiple campuses within the Bury area.
Dedicated to providing the communities we serve with a broad choice of learning options, this college offers a range of A Level courses, vocational programs, and apprenticeships. In addition to they also offer higher level courses available at at their University Centre, as well as courses for adults.
We are working closely with their SEND department who are currently looking to expand its department and are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Foundation Learning Tutor to help contribute to their dynamic and motivated team and continue to deliver engaging classes to their learners.
Role responsibilities
- Delivering Foundation Learning modules to students
- Provide support within classes and help motivate students within the subject
- Provide advice for opportunities beyond their time at the college
The person & qualifications
- Experienced in delivering Foundation Learning
- Hold a teaching qualification
- Hold a DBS on the update service
- Hold a qualification in SEND at a minimum of level 3 or a similar subject
