ESOL Lecturer, Derbyshire

Protocol is working closely with an FE college based in Derbyshire to help recruit for motivated and enthusiastic ESOL Lecturer.  We are looking for experienced candidates who will provide outstanding standard of education is delivered on Entry 3 to Level 2 ESOL with some elements of GCSE English and Digital Skills to support.  The institution is committed to providing a broad range of courses for all learners and the client is looking to grow the team. 

The role:

• Part-time/temp role, starting asap until Christmas break. 
• Deliver on Entry 3 – Level 2 ESOL with some GCSE English & Digital Skills.
• Assess students and monitor progress through effective tracking.
• Liaise closely with curriculum teams to ensure that student progress is effective and timely.
• Counsel students and maintain discipline as required.
• Participate in the recruitment of students including attendance at Shows and Careers Conventions.
• Participate in Curriculum development to meet the needs of changing demands and College planning.
• Participate in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure that all learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service and attention at all times.
• Assist in the maintenance and sustainable development of resources and commercial activities.
• Attend day and evening meetings, courses, etc. considered to be of benefit to the College and the individual.
• Encourage learner development through engaging and interactive sessions.

The person:

We are therefore seeking passionate individuals with a background in ESOL/English Language with relevant qualifications.  

Have you got what it takes? 

• L3+ in relevant academic qualifications.  
• A recognized teaching qualification or CELTA/DELTA.    
• Level 2 Maths & English.
• A positive and supportive attitude to student support and experience.
