Apply nowProtocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in the Chesterfield area in their search for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to develop, maintain, and support IT infrastructure within the college.
The role;
This role is offering 37 hours on a weekly basis plus annual leave.
You will be working within the colleges IT department, developing, maintaining & supporting the College’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering support for the robust and secure IT infrastructure within the college, working together with all college staff to provide the students outstanding service, support staff and students both face-to-face and video calls. Also providing 3rd-line helpdesk support as well as keeping the helpdesk tickets updated, creating SOP’s and managing IT hardware, whilst driving improvement within the department to help provide the students with the best chance to succeed!
The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about IT and that have relevant experience in the industry. The individual will ideally have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to inspire learners.
Have you got what it takes?
- A degree or relevant industry experience in IT.
- Relevant IT qualifications (Vendor certifications).
- Level 2 Mathematics and English.
- Ideally experience in an educational setting.
- Positive approach to student learning and development.
