Personal Development Coordinator

Permanent, 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. 

South Yorkshire-based College. 

FTE Salary £22,256 (21,451 pro-rata)

Main Duties:

  • Create a programme of personal development activities, available to all learners
  • Organise, coordinate and deliver events to develop the essential life and personal skills of students.
  • Work with learners to understand key topics
  • Build effective partnerships with external organisations, who will provide guest speaker delivery
  • Lead on learner voice activity
  • Co-ordinate cross-college enrichment activities including health, wellbeing and learning opportunities

You’ll have:

  • Experience of working in an educational environment 
  • Experience working within a support/counseling/mentor role 
  • Experience in organising cross-college events 
  • Experience delivering learning/training to groups of young people.
  • You will have qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent, and a Level 2 qualification in Guidance/Counselling or similar.
  • DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one)
