HE Construction Skills Lecturer

Part time Permanent assignment 

Rotherham based College

FTE-£36,400 (Pro rata salary-£18,200 per annum for part time hours)

Job Purpose             

To be responsible for teaching higher education construction courses and the development of a specific subject area, the leadership of a programme of study, classroom or lecture management, lesson preparation and marking.

In line with qualification/experience, to be responsible for specific subject development, significant research/consultancy activity, master classes, course verification, co-ordinating course teams and course leadership.

To be responsible for the use of appropriate assessment methods, the achievement of learning and teaching goals and the recording of learner activity.

You’ll have:

  • Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. 
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant subject (construction)
  • Experience delivering high education construction qualifications
  • DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one)
