Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Rotherham in their search for a experienced Plumbing Lecturer to deliver teaching to students across a range of levels within the college.

The role;  

This role is offering full-time hours on a permanent basis. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Salary up to £36,413 per annum including Market Force Enhancement + benefits.
  • To undertake curriculum development, including the development of specific subject areas, preparation of learning materials and marking of student assignments, ensuring that learning and teaching goals are attained and achievement is appropriately recorded.
  • To contribute to the management of learning programmes including quality assurance through the use of appropriate assessment methods to inform planning, student guidance and counselling, coaching, mentoring and student administration.
  • To contribute to course verification, course leadership and/ or significant research / consultancy activity.
  • To contribute the development of specific subject areas, coordinating course teams and students to ensure the effective delivery of curriculum, timetabling, and day to day running of programmes.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and assessors award.
  • Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Math’s. 
  • Plumbing Level 3 qualifications are essential.
  • DBS (on update system) or willing to apply for a new one
