Cambridgeshire-based College. 

Fixed term until July 2025, part-time hours. 

£27,425 – £40,369 (based on experience and qualifications)

The college is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Supported Learning Lecturer with a focus on Creative Industries to join our team. This role involves providing effective teaching and learning development for students with learning disabilities, enabling them to access and successfully achieve their chosen programme of study.

Duties:

  • Act as course team lead and tutor for a group of students with moderate entry-level learning needs.
  • Lead the Introduction to Creative Industries course.
  • Design schemes of work, learning resources, and assessment schedules to capture RARPA outcomes and accredited qualifications.
  • Monitor student welfare and make necessary referrals to student services.
  • Direct Learning Support Mentors to ensure impactful and rapid learning progress.
  • Produce written reports to support EHCP meetings.

The requirements: 

  • Relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with learning disabilities.
  • Proficiency in teaching English and maths at Entry and Level 1.
  • Understanding of RARPA processes and EHCP targets.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
