Job Title: Electrical Assessor

Location: King’s Cross, London

Contract Type: Temporary Cover

Start Date: 2nd September 2024

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Assessor to join an FE College based in King’s Cross on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Level 1 Electrical courses to new groups of students.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Ensure all teaching and assessment practices meet the required standards.
• Support students in achieving their learning goals and preparing for assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized qualification in Electrical Installation or a related field.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in teaching Electrical courses, particularly at Level 1.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with assessment and verification processes.
• Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies in Electrical Installation.
• Ability to use digital learning tools and platforms.
