Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Assessor to join an FE College based in King’s Cross on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Level 1 Electrical courses to new groups of students.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Ensure all teaching and assessment practices meet the required standards.
- Support students in achieving their learning goals and preparing for assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized qualification in Electrical Installation or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in teaching Electrical courses, particularly at Level 1.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with assessment and verification processes.
- Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies in Electrical Installation.
- Ability to use digital learning tools and platforms.
