Location: East of England, Norfolk-based College
Job Type: Permanent and temporary positions offered. Full-time is preferable, however, Part-time will be considered.
Salary: £24,150 – £30,454 Per Annum (if permanent)
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and informative chemistry lessons to students at levels 2 and 3
- Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching chemistry at the secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience:
- Teaching chemistry in an FE setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the chemistry curriculum
- Ability to engage and inspire students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficient in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in teaching A-level Chemistry
