You could be in a full time permanent position teaching and assessing Bus and Coach Engineering courses in a further education College that gives you ongoing training and development to help you progress in your career, and the opportunity to achieve a PGCE through the college in your first three years.
 
The School of Technical Apprenticeships successfully prepares learners for a wide range of careers and/or higher education, meeting the latest industry standards. 
 
You would be responsible for the assessment of apprentices following Apprenticeship Standards in Bus and Coach Engineering in their workplaces and in college and teaching a range of standards.

You are qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicles with experience of maintaining heavy vehicles/public service vehicles (e.g. buses, coaches) and have up to date experience of teaching and/or assessing within this subject area.  

You have good communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage apprentices.  

You have a full, clean driving licence and the ability and willingness to travel to employers’ premises in the local area.

Even if you’re not an experienced teacher, the college will support you in your career to achieve a teaching qualification within the first 3 years of employment.
 
£31,357 to £43,729 per annum plus benefits
