Protocol are working closely with a Further Education establishment based in Liverpool in their search for an experienced Welfare Officer to support and guide students across a range of courses within the establishment.

The role;

  • This role is offering Full time hours on a temporary ongoing basis (9am-5pm – 5 days per week)
  • You will be offering support students on their courses of study. You will be responsible for ensuring each student is achieving their best during their time on their course.
  • Giving learners advice and guidance on a range of welfare issues including: accommodation, housing, financial, health, letters, food and wellbeing.

The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about supporting students and having pastoral duties. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experience with pastoral duties.
  • DBS on the update service.
  • Ability to liaise with students about their issues or any problems they may be facing.
