Arboriculture Technician

Part time hours

Northamptonshire 

Salary: £8920 per annum (pro rata’d from full time equivalent of £22,300 per annum)

 

Protocol are looking for an Arboriculture Technician to maintain equipment and support practical sessions for Arboriculture students in Landbased and Equine department.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of Arboriculture practical teaching lessons
  • Support students undertaking practical activity under the direction of a member of teaching staff
  • Ensure the Arboriculture areas are kept to a high standard.
  • Prepare materials for practical classes.
  • Ensure administrative procedures are completed efficiently, including statutory and internal returns, stock and asset registers.

 

Successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum Level 3 Extended National Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry
  • Small Fell trained
  • Access to a tree and aerial rescue trained
  • First Aid at Work +F
  • Experience working in a similar position
