Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of learners, providing training and assessment both in college and at their place of work.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine learner readiness and create individual learning plans.
- Design and deliver training plans that develop learners’ knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
- Work with employers to establish relevant activities and tasks for learners.
- Ensure learners are prepared for Gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA).
- Provide ongoing support, advice, and guidance to learners and employers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with college and awarding body standards.
- Promote college values and ensure best practices are applied at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent) or willingness to gain these qualifications.
- Recent vocational experience or continuous professional development in a relevant industry.
- Experience of working with apprentices and achieving targets.
- Knowledge of current vocational qualification systems and experience with e-Portfolios.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to influence and motivate others.
- Proficient in IT and record-keeping.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required.
