Protocol are working with a Further Education College located in Wakefield in their search for an Animal care Lecturer who can teach FE and HE topics within animal care.

The role.

This role is offering various hours on a temporary cover basis.

You will be working within the College supporting, teaching, training, and assessing Animal care students on their courses of study. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.

The person.
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about Animal care and that have the relevant industry experience. The individual will have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational, and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.

Have you got what it takes?

  • A Biology/Animal Care background
  • Recent teaching experience in a related subject
  • DBS on the update service
  • Ideally a teaching qualification
