Birmingham 
Part time hours – Timetable below 
Temporary on-going 
£22.34 – £25.90 per hour 

Timetable; 
Monday
09:00-11:00 – Empowerment in H&SC

Wednesday
10:00-12:00 – Protection of Children Young People & Adults in H&SC
12:00-14:00 – Empowerment in H&SC

Thursday is Access to HE and this is delivered online
10:00-12:00 – Progression to HE
12:30-14:30 – Study Techniques
15:00-16:00 – Tutorial (Group FE)

The role; 
You will be working within the colleges Health/ Health and Social department, supporting, teaching, training and assessing Healthcare students on their courses of study, including both FE and Access to HE Courses surrounding Health and Health and Social. You will be responsible for delivering education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.

The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals that are passionate about Health/ Healthcare and that have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.

Have you got what it takes?

  • A level 3 qualification in a relevant subject 
  • A teaching qualification – Preferred. Not essential 
  • Experience delivering both Further Education and Access to Higher education courses within Health/ Health and Social care
