Computing & IT Lecturer – Level 2 & 3  – £30 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

A leading further education provider in Oldham is seeking an experienced Computing & IT Lecturer to deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching to students at Level 2 and Level 3. This role provides an opportunity to equip learners with essential digital skills, including:

  • Computer network design and implementation
  • Website development and UX/UI principles
  • 3D CAD and digital modelling
  • Computer system architecture and maintenance
  • Cybersecurity strategies and data protection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning on BTEC Level 2 and 3 courses
  • Use innovative teaching methods to engage students in both theoretical and practical aspects of computing
  • Support learners in developing hands-on experience with the latest industry technologies
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback to ensure students achieve their full potential

Candidate Requirements:

  • A teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one
  • Relevant industry experience in IT, computing, or digital technologies
  • A strong understanding of BTEC and HN computing qualifications
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting student progression
