We are working with a a fantastic college in the Ipswich area who are looking for a Carpentry Technician on a full time, permanent basis! 

Role responsibilities

  • The post holder will work as part of a team to provide practical learning opportunities within the department. This will include demonstrating skills to small groups of students and supervising students as they practice skills and maintaining the resources.

The person & qualifications

  • Relevant vocational qualification (Level 2) or equivalent experience
  • Health & Safety qualification at Level 2 or ability to achieve
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability to carry out risk assessments
  • First Aid at work certificate or be willing to work towards one
  • Relevant industry experience
