Electrical subjects Lecturer or Tutor/Assessor – Flexible salary and golden hello/relocation package available
Protocol are excited to be working with an exceptional further education college based in Greater Manchester to recruit electrical teaching and assessing staff.
The role will be full time permanent in a successful department and provides an excellent benefits package (see below). The college is willing to pay a salary above market rate for the right candidate.
You will be working within a motivated and creative team, working alongside a number of blue-chip organisations within the area.
The college is willing to be flexible with this position depending on your strengths. Whether you prefer assessing or lecturing or like to have a more hybrid role doing both you will be considered on that basis.
Subjects: Electrical engineering OR Electrical installations
For assessing: you will be expected to carry out workplace assessments and reviews of apprentices as well as set SMART targets and action plans. Delivering professional qualifications up to level 3, you will also embed functional skills as required.
There will also be IQA duties within this role but candidates without an IQA qualification may still be considered.
If you take a purely lecturing role then your role would be teaching electrical engineering based subjects at the college site to a cohort of students who are performing well.

- Hold an assessing qualification (If assessing)
- Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in electrical discipline
- Industry experience
- A teaching qualification is very desirable
