We are excited to be working with a brand new Provider led by a Local Authority primarily based in and around Nottingham and the East Midlands area. The Provider are rated ‘outstanding’ for social enterprise and are at the forefront of providing jobs and skills advice, training and apprenticeships to support young people, adults into work with reputable employers and training.

 

The job:

We are looking for a skilled practitioner and qualified teacher to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment across a range of courses as part of the Adult Education funding contract. You will have experience delivering Business Administration, Customer Service, Employability and basic IT skills, with the objective of preparing learners for sustainable employment.

 

As a Pre-Employment Vocational Coach, you will work closely with clients to plan, develop and implement their Individual Learning Plan (ILP) from enrolment to the completion of their learning aims and beyond via giving exceptional Information, Advice and Guidance at all times.

 

For this role you will need to have knowledge of delivering Adult Skills training, working with funding and awarding bodies as well as being highly organised, efficient and have desire and aspiration for delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold or Teaching Qualification at minimum Level 3, preferably PGCE, Cert ED, DTTLS or Equivalent
  • Have Level 2 or equivalent in Functional Skills English and maths
  • Have current and relevant workplace occupational competence
  • Understand expectations of Awarding Bodies with experience of meeting outcome criteria using various assessment methods
  • Commitment to quality maintenance of company and customer records
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to engage with colleagues and learners
