Protocol are working with a fantastic college in the South of Wales local to the birth place of Anthony Hopkins, Michael Sheen and Richard Burton! They are currently looking for a temporary IT/Computing Lecturer to deliver the HNC & HND courses. There are 26.5 hours per week and they are looking for someone to start in ASAP until Easter 2019. They are looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer who can motivate students to achieve the best they can! They are looking to interview immediately. Role responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering IT / Computing up to level 3 including delivering: 
    • Programming, Applied Computing, Information Systems, System Security, Databases, The Online World and Digital Literacy
  • Teaching 26.5 hours per week 
  • Motivating students to excel in their subject area


The person & qualifications

  • You must have a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have a minimum of a degree in relevant area
  • Recent experience of teaching HNC / HND Computing / IT
  • Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
