The ideal candidate would also have experience with floor and wall tiling.

Details about the role

Timetable: 0.8x contract: Approx 14 hours teaching (Monday full day, Tuesday afternoon until 17:30, Friday full day) + 10 hours assessing(flexible)

Start date and duration: ASAP / Until end of academic year

Mileage: Assessing is local and paid at £0.45pm

The role requires the delivery and assessment of plastering to level 3, the ideal candidate would also have experience with floor and wall tiling. This college has one of the strongest and most forward-thinking construction and the built environment departments in the country and the students/apprentices are generally very well-behaved on site.

Role responsibilities

  • Delivering and assessing plastering courses to level 3 within the local area
  • Assist with delivery and assessment of floor and wall tiling courses if appropriate

The person & qualifications

  • A1 Assessor award or equivalent
  • Teaching qualification of level 3 or above
