Protocol are working with a fantastic college in Cambridgeshire to recruit a Plumbing and Gas Assessor. There are full time, 37 hours available per week and they are looking for someone to start asap for a permanent post. They are looking for an enthusiastic Assessor who can motivate students to achieve the best they can! They are looking to interview immediately. Role responsibilities

  • Organise and provide training and support for apprentices
  • Agree, design and deliver training programmes in the appropriate area, providing support to apprentices to achieve their qualification within agreed timescales
  • Prepare apprentices for assessment
  • Organise and plan assessment opportunities with apprentices and employers
  • Carry out assessment activities in the required locations
  • Support apprentices in completing portfolios of work

 

The person & qualifications

  • Level 3 NVQ or Advanced qualifications in Plumbing

  • Hold an Assessor qualification or be willing to study for one

  • Hold an accredited gas qualifications including CCN1, CONGL PD, MTR1, CENWAT
  • Hold a CSCS card 
  • Recent and relevant industrial experience covering at least five years
