Working for one of the largest and most respected training organisations on the south coast; we are recruiting for a Programme Lead – Engineering Training (EP312). This fantastic opportunity will be reporting to the Engineering Manager, leading and co-ordinating the development of a range of programmes across the engineering curriculum; reflecting the client’s commitment to ensuring an excellent learner experience is provided.

Location: Havant, Hampshire.

Job Description: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the job holder will lead and co-ordinate the development of a range of programmes across the engineering curriculum to reflect the company’s commitment to ensuring an excellent learner experience is provided. Particular focus is required on the curriculum development of the new apprenticeship standards and end point assessment as well as contribution to our quality systems in support of our aim to provide outstanding teaching, learning and curriculum design and delivery. You will also be responsible for the commercial agenda in developing our engineering offer for adult skills in order to meet local and regional demands whilst aligning with our own objective to grow this aspect of our business.

Role responsibilities

The person & qualifications

  • Teaching/Assessing qualifications. HNC engineering qualification or equivalent experience Good understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards. Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Experience of working within a learning environment Proven track record of curriculum development and planning in engineering.
