We are delighted to be assisting an education provider with the appoint of their next Programme Manager – Counselling (0.5 FTE). This is on a temporary to permanent basis.

 

Role responsibilities

  • To teach Counselling courses and act as a role model for teaching excellence
  • To provide supportive line management to tutors within the subject area to ensure that all teaching is good or better, poor practice is eliminated, and that this contributes to outstanding outcomes for learners
  • To use specialist knowledge, tutor, community and learner views to inform development of the curriculum to meet learner and community needs both locally and nationally

 

The person & qualifications

  • Counselling Degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • A professional teaching qualification
  • Experience of course management
  • Able to act as a role model for teaching excellence
