Property Maintenance Operative Lecturer (Carpentry Bias)

Ideally you will have had a career as a handyman/tradesman for properties carrying out multi-disciplinary work such as: 

  • Carpentry & joinery
  • Plastering
  • Painting & decorating
  • Electrical maintenance

Role responsibilities

  • Delivering professional courses to adult maintenance staff of a well-known national organisation
  • Development and implementation of courses using existing industry knowledge

The person & qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and hold relevant property maintenance qualifications or proof of equivalent experience
  • Recent and relevant industry experience or recent teaching experience essential
  • Teaching qualification desirable but not essential 
  • Assessors award desirable but not essential
