Our organisation values, which were developed by our colleagues, underpin everything we do – being open and honest, valuing our people and taking ownership. Living our values, we truly believe in a working environment that encourages open and honest feedback.
We work with thousands of businesses each year through our colleges and training divisions to provide high quality education, training and skills. Everything we do is centred around our purpose, to ‘unlock potential through learning’.
Our Values and the behaviours that lie behind them, were developed by over 2,000 colleagues and 400 customers and learners who all worked together to define those things that really sit at the heart of everything we do. Our Values make ‘how we work together’ a defining characteristic of being part of NCG.
At NCG we are fully committed to improving how we work with each other. Our annual colleague engagement survey, which is run by Great Place to Work, is a tool that we use to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to have their voice heard.
The best workplaces understand those things that are truly valued by their people and the results of our Great Place to Work survey offers important insights into those things that are truly valued by our people. From here, we can then shape our future and create a workplace we are all proud to be part of.
Our Values Determine:
How we behave towards colleagues, learners and employers
How we take ownership for our work and behaviour
How we ensure that we’re open and honest in our communication
