Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Associate Director for Recruitment you will lead and manage a high-performing, agile 360⁰ Recruitment Team and deliver excellent recruitment services to:
- An established portfolio of FE clients.
- A prospective portfolio of FE clients.
- Workers seeking sessional or permanent work.
Your particular focus will be on achieving high quality outputs through leadership and strong business acumen. Team leadership will be at the heart of everything you do to achieve profitable recruitment through business development, effective customer relationships and exploiting every opportunity.
Relationships
You will take responsibility for creating and maintaining excellent relationships with:
- Your team
- Your line manager and other company managers delivering support services
- Peer Recruitment Team Managers
Responsibilities, Outputs and Outcomes
You will:
- Achieve an annual Business Plan based on an established formula of team salary multiples. The Business Plan will evolve based on client demand and opportunity and you will manage your team resources to deliver the most cost efficient Return on Team Investment.
- Maintain, monitor and report against a simple set of Team KPIs sufficient to plot where the team is against targets and client as well as candidate satisfaction.
- Lead by example as an active and successful Recruitment Consultant using your knowledge and experiences to engage in business development and grow the team’s portfolio sharing opportunities across the team.
- Create a positive team culture by acting at all times with high levels of personal integrity. You will lead, motivate, performance manage, train, coach and retain your team ensuring their best welfare, health and wellbeing and by creating a positive team culture.
- Extract all available business from established portfolios and win as much new business as is competitively possible through superb client engagement, and a responsive, agile, adaptive and customer focussed service.
- Relentlessly focus on improving your Team’s Conversion Rate towards 100%, ensuring that every opportunity is fully qualified. All roles should be effectively and consistently worked, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout.
- Build and sustain a professional presence in the market through company marketing initiatives, social media and team reputation for successful delivery.
- Lead a team that is ‘Best in Class’ in recruitment that thrives on feedback and learning from every opportunity. Your team will be leaders and innovators in role-qualification, promotion, screening, speed, accuracy, choice, Safe Recruitment and conversion that will be measured by customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Use company data and the CRM carefully, responsibly and accurately in accordance with company policy.
- Mutually support peers and colleagues from other teams. This will involve you developing a wider team-based skills set and multi-tasking to meet routine and unexpected peaks in workload.
- Undertake any tasks your line manager considers is reasonable to provide an exceptional service and growth to the wider business.
