The College Governing Body is committed to continuing to invest in its HE delivery and plans for the University Centre to be a key national and international provider of specialist higher education in the applied science of land, environment and sustainable resource management which excels in “research into practise” at Foundation, Honours and Masters Degree levels.
We are looking for a forward thinking, dynamic and innovative people person to lead the day-to-day management of the HE Faculty. Working closely with the Vice Principal of Education, you will lead a dynamic, talented and progressive team. You may already deliver leadership services in a Higher Education setting or be looking to take your next step in college management.
Regardless of your background you will have experience of HE delivery in an FE or HE environment and have what it takes to deliver an outstanding student experience on and off campus. You will hold quality of education close to your heart and have a passion to advance an already comprehensive higher education offer that meets the needs of industry and the next generation.
Originally established in 1899 and moving to Sparsholt in 1914, Sparsholt College Hampshire has developed to be a leading provider of specialist land-based and general further education across two college campuses – Sparsholt College and Andover College – and of higher education at University Centre Sparsholt. Together with three wholly-owned subsidiary companies established to support the college’s educational mission, these are collectively known as ‘Sparsholt College Group’.
Since 2007, Ofsted has repeatedly judged the quality of learning as ‘Good with many Outstanding features’ and the Ofsted grading of residential provision repeatedly ‘Outstanding’ in all aspects.
University Centre Sparsholt, working in partnership with the University of Portsmouth was graded TEF Gold in June 2018 and the college has been registered as a higher education provider with the Office for Students since October 2018.
