The Strategic Development Network brings together leading experts from the education and skills sector to provide training, consultancy and innovation to their clients across the sector. The Assessors Guild
The Assessors Guild are the Professional Membership Body for Assessors, established by The Federation of Industry Sector Skills and Standards (FISSS), a charitable organisation. They represent and support a growing professional family of assessors from all disciplines with the sole mission of achieving consistency and exceptional quality in the area of assessment and quality assurance.
The Assessors Guild offer a range of individual and corporate memberships that are suitable for a diverse range of people working in and across assessment. They are advocates for technical, vocational, end-point, academic assessors and quality assurers, offering a comprehensive support network for their members. Crown Commercial Service (CCS)
The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is a government organisation that brings together policy, advice and direct buying; providing commercial services to the public sector and saving money for the taxpayer. Their aim is to:
- make savings for customers in both central government and the wider public sector
- achieve maximum value from every commercial relationship
- improve the quality of service delivery for common goods and services across government
They work with over 17,000 customer organisations in the public sector and more than 5,000 suppliers.

Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)
ESPO is a customer-focused, public sector owned professional buying organisation. Used by education, local government, charities and the wider public sector, they are committed to getting the most for their customers by pursuing best practice in procurement, sourcing, supply chain partner support and management, contract management and EU compliance.
Established in 1981, ESPO has the purchasing power to achieve savings to pass on to customers. Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC)
CPC are a purchasing consortium, owned and run by the FE sector, who provide their members with specialist advice on best spending practices and how to obtain best value for money.
Their main purpose is to produce EU-tendered purchasing frameworks. CPC frameworks cover a wide variety of products and services, and their aim is to continue to develop this portfolio in line with members’ needs.

Armed Forces Covenant – Bronze Award (Employer Recognition Scheme)
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.
