On Friday evening, #TeamProtocol gathered at Brewhouse & Kitchen in West Bridgford to celebrate our busiest period…the end of the New Academic Year (NAY).
NAY runs from August to October and is a challenging yet rewarding time for all, even for the most seasoned Education recruiters! It requires resilience, patience, a good sense of humour and of course teamwork!
So in true Protocol style, what better way to finish the period than with an awards ceremony, celebrating all the successes we’ve had in the last few months.
The office was buzzing all day in the run-up to the coveted event, and as all our teams excitedly arrived to a private function room decorated with balloons and with the announcement of an open bar, the positivity could be felt all around.
The ceremony began with a speech from Amir Qureshi, our Chief Executive Officer. He hailed the teams for their hard work and determination in what is his first NAY at the company.
The award presentations then began – there were lots of cheers, laughter and even a few tears from the winners – which were all thoroughly well deserved!
We went on to have a delicious dinner followed by the final few awards. The teams then had the chance to have a few more drinks and a good chat before some staff members chose to stay out and party the night away.
A fantastic night was had by all – here’s to another successful academic year!
