Here at Protocol, we know all about the importance of good people, we pride ourselves in ‘placing people first’ and have been doing so for 25 years now!
Our business is full of great people, and you may only interact with one or two in your work with us, but there is a whole army of support in the background from IT to Marketing and Compliance to Recruitment Consultants. We thought it was important for you to find out a bit more about the people that make up #TeamProtocol. In this series, you will find out a bit about the person behind the screen, or at the end of the phone.
To continue the Protocol Spotlight series, we would like to introduce you to Brittany Jackson, Finance Director. Brittany has been part of the Protocol Family for 2 months, and is based at Head Office in Nottingham. Here’s what we found out about Brittany:
- What car do you drive?
Range Rover Evoque.
- What is your favourite food?
Do I have to narrow this down? I love food in general and enjoy trying different cuisines and flavours from around the world. If I had to pick my favourites, it would be seafood, tapas, modern Chinese and Thai.
- What is your favourite drink?
Monday to Friday, I live on water! When the weekend arrives Cotes de Provence Rose takes its place, I stumbled upon this when visiting the champagne region and have remained loyal ever since!
- What is your favourite film, book or TV show?
I much prefer series to films, Netflix is my go to. “The Sinner” is one of my favourites, I love psychological thrillers. Most recently I watched “Behind Her Eyes” and simply could not believe the ending! The best book I have read is “Before I Go To Sleep”, I was hooked from start to finish.
- What is your dream holiday destination?
Hawaii – I can just imagine it to be a tropical paradise with the “Aloha Spirit”.
- Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy watching/playing football and weight training in the gym. Although nothing beats catching up with friends and family, over good food and drink. Do holidays and city breaks count as hobbies? If so they are definitely my favourite, I love exploring.
- Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I once played five-a-side football on top of a hotel against the Class of 92…I found it pretty fun!
- What sports teams do you follow?
Manchester United!
- What’s your dream car?
Audi R8, hopefully winning the Euromiillions will pave the way to making it a reality.
- What was your dream job as a child?
I wanted to be an Archaeologist, I was fascinated by Ancient Egypt and Tutankhamun.
- What one skill or talent would you love to be able to master?
Singing, I am completely tone deaf.
- What’s your favourite time of year?
Summer, I live for sunshine.
- And finally, why do you love working at Protocol?
