We are very aware that quality and compliance is of fundamental importance to FE. It ensures learner success, means that the College is meeting its mission and ethos, and secures funding for the organisation. As a supplier to the FE sector, we take our responsibility for providing both a quality and compliant service extremely seriously. Protocol has had a permanent, in-house Quality Team for many years now and our dedicated team of experienced people always strive to push for the very best from our candidates and we are sure we are one of the few suppliers (if not the only) that go to great lengths to monitor the quality of our candidates.
We understand that our candidates working in your institutions can affect inspection outcomes, so over the years we have implemented a set of rigorous best practice procedures. Most notably, we support both our clients and candidates through inspections, providing support and guidance for teaching and learning observations and monitor all of our candidate’s progress, all of which is available for our clients to see and helps them make future recruiting decisions. Our commitment to these processes has seen the percentage of our candidates graded Outstanding or Good in our client colleges rise from 63% to 82%. Which we think is an excellent result! And of course those that don’t quite reach that grade are provided with help and guidance to improve on the areas they need to.

- Full DBS Checks
- Confirmation of Right to Work in UK
- Reference Checks
- Teaching Qualifications Verification
- Safeguarding training
- Contract Assessment Forms – completed by client colleges to confirm the ability of Protocol Candidates
- Observation result monitoring
