Protocol, the UK’s leading provider of HR outsourcing in the FE industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Sackree, former vice principal and deputy CEO of Lincoln College as chief operating officer.
Ian Sackree, an accomplished and experienced chartered accountant, corporate finance and business turnaround specialist, has previously enjoyed ten years at Lincoln College where his innovation and energy was key to many of its successes.
Viv Cruickshank, CEO at Protocol said: “I am delighted that Ian has joined us, he has an impressive background within the FE sector and brings with him a host of skills and attributes I’m sure will be beneficial to Protocol”
She added; “I very much look forward to working with Ian, for me the fact that he comes from a college background is extremely important and really demonstrates our Board is committed to working closely as part of the FE Sector and not just with it. I know that Ian’s contributions will ensure that we continue to develop strong working relationships with education providers in both the UK and abroad”.
Ian commented on his decision to join protocol “I really enjoyed my time at Lincoln College but after nearly ten years I felt that it was perhaps time to return to the private sector, from where I came albeit still serving the FE Sector; which I am passionate about. For me, Protocol is the obvious choice; it is trusted, has a large FE footprint, an extremely capable management team and it provides me with the platform to help many other colleges achieve some of the successes and deliver some of the change-management initiatives that I have led and overseen at Lincoln College”.
