We are very proud to be offering another fantastic free webinar alongside our colleagues The Strategic Development Network (SDN).

With an increasing number of apprentices going through end-point assessment for the first time, the process is not only different from previous years, but also high stakes!

So how can you best prepare apprentices for end-point assessment, and at what point might you do this?

On Fri, 20 March from 12.30 to 1.30pm, SDN and Protocol are hosting a free webinar to give you an insight into:

  • How to decode the assessment plan
  • Engaging with EPAOs early – questions you should be asking
  • Common models – building EPA preparation into the curriculum and learning plan
  • The approach being taken by a leading training provider and EPAO

Who is this webinar for?

This webinar is for trainers and their managers – those preparing apprentices for end-point assessment. It would also be useful for those delivering, or planning to deliver, end-point assessments.

Facilitators and speakers

The webinar will be facilitated by Chris Cherry, an SDN specialist in apprenticeship on-programme training and end-point assessment. Chris has been heavily involved in the development of new standards and assessment plans, as well as supporting many of the first EPAOs to set up and start delivering end-point assessment. Chris holds a Masters in assessment theory and is well published in this area.

Why an SDN-Protocol webinar?

Protocol have been the leading recruitment agency to the skills, training and further education sector for 25 years, and are working closely with EPAOs across the country.

SDN are leading experts in the apprenticeship reforms. We’ve directly supported 5,000 apprenticeship staff, from 1,000 organisations, to help prepare to deliver apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment. We’ve also worked closely with 80 of the trailblazer employer groups, giving us a unique insight into what is required.
