Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in Cambridgeshire in their search for an experienced Communication Support Worker to assist hearing-impaired students across a range of levels within the college.
The role (REF #273590);
This role offers Part-time hours (24 hours per week) on a fixed-term basis (Until July 2024)
£23,292 – £25,104 pro rata DOE
You will be working within the college’s Learning Support department, supporting hearing-impaired students in their courses of study to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.
We are therefore seeking individuals who are passionate about helping hearing-impaired students in their course of study and who have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields.
Have you got what it takes?
- A level 3 qualification in BSL
- Have L2 Maths & English
- Experience with hearing-impaired learners
- Experience with SEN learners
- Experience in note-taking
- Experience in lip-speaking
- Experience with language modification
