Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in the Bury area in their search for an Assessor in Hairdressing to assess students on their courses of study within the college on a range of different levels.

The role;

This role offers full-time hours (29.6 hours per week) on a temporary basis (contract Until Easter but could possibly be longer)

Tuesday – Wednesday & Thursday

You will be working within the college’s Hair and Beauty department assessing Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard students on their courses of study. You will be assessing and marking student work and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.

The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals who are passionate about Hairdressing have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area in order to educate and inspire learners.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experience in assessing Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard
  • Experience with leading apprentices to successful End Point Assessment
  • Level 3 Hairdressing qualification
  • Assessors certificate (work-based units included)
  • Driving License & Business Insurance
  • Use of OneFile would be beneficial.
