Counselling Tutor

Job Location: Richmond, Greater London

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time

Job Duties:

  • Deliver counselling courses to students in an engaging and informative manner
  • Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience
  • Assess student progress and provide guidance on areas for improvement
  • Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification
  • CPCAB Level 2 Counselling
  • BACP accreditation

Education:

A relevant teaching qualification and counselling certification

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching counselling courses preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of counselling techniques and theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a supportive learning environment
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in teaching adult learners
