Job Title: Maths Lecturer

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and informative Functional skills/GCSE mathematics lectures to students
• Develop and implement lesson plans and educational content
• Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their learning
• Provide academic support and guidance to students on mathematics-related topics
• Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of mathematics education

Required Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field

Education:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience:

• Previous experience in teaching in a college environment
• Experience helping students engage in a learning environment
• Previous experience delivering Functional Skills in mathematics
• Previous experience delivering GCSE mathematics

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and teaching methods
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Good organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Mathematics Education
