Protocol are proud to be working with an established FE college based in Lincolnshire in their search for an experienced Digital Education Manager for a permanent position with a salary of £41,711 per annum

Recently rated as “good” by Ofsted in 2024, this college welcomes 4,500 students through its door each year with over 250 courses on offer. We are working closely with the college Senior Leadership in their search for an experienced Digital Education Manager  who will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of our further and higher education institution

Role responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the college’s strategic plan, visions and values to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Oversee and ensure the efficient operation of digital systems, including the virtual learning environment (VLE), ensuring its continuous improvement and user-friendliness.
  • Champion, lead and support the use and development of college digital platforms, such as CollegeIP, VITAL and Smart Assessor.
  • Lead on the management of the colleges virtual reality suite and projects including Stage VR, Metaverse Learning and Holopatient
  • Line manage a team of Digital Education Specialists, providing guidance, direction, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team provide effective digital support across the college.

The person & qualifications

  • Able to demonstrate excellent online delivery of teaching and learning
  • An understanding of digital learning methods and Microsoft technologies 
  • Experience of developing the digital skills of others, with success
  • Experience of successful digital project delivery and impact
