We are working closely with the college Senior Leadership in their search for an experienced Digital Education Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of our further and higher education institution
Role responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the college’s strategic plan, visions and values to enhance teaching and learning.
- Oversee and ensure the efficient operation of digital systems, including the virtual learning environment (VLE), ensuring its continuous improvement and user-friendliness.
- Champion, lead and support the use and development of college digital platforms, such as CollegeIP, VITAL and Smart Assessor.
- Lead on the management of the colleges virtual reality suite and projects including Stage VR, Metaverse Learning and Holopatient
- Line manage a team of Digital Education Specialists, providing guidance, direction, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team provide effective digital support across the college.
The person & qualifications
- Able to demonstrate excellent online delivery of teaching and learning
- An understanding of digital learning methods and Microsoft technologies
- Experience of developing the digital skills of others, with success
- Experience of successful digital project delivery and impact
