You’re looking for a new Monday – Friday Horticulture Lecturing position? Great! 
 
This post is teaching Foundation Learners Monday – Friday full time to start in September on a temporary basis for the full academic year.
 
The students will be Foundation/SEND, and you will be teaching them L1 Garden Design and Horticulture.
 
Based in Harrow, this leading FE College is a very well-established College graded as “Good” by Ofsted. The College’s students are at the heart of what they do, and their priority is to prepare all their learners for the future. The excellent staff and facilities ensure that they provide a well-rounded learning experience to students to help them reach their full potential. Last year over 800 students from the A-Level and Vocational Courses went on to study at top universities.

 

£29.70 – £32.32 per hour for teaching hours
 

The person & qualifications

  • A degree/appropriate professional qualification in subject area
  • Experience working with young people with SEND
  • Has FE Teaching experience – desirable
  • Holds an advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (PGCE, DET or equivalent)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young learners of all ages
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Happy to plan and prep lessons
  • Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one.
