Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £28763 – £39004 Per annum (Depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Conduct assessments of engineering apprentices in accordance with awarding body standards
  • Ensure all assessment activities are carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Provide constructive feedback to apprentices to support their learning and development
  • Conduct internal quality assurance (IQA) activities to ensure assessment processes are robust and consistent
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve assessment processes and standards

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recognised Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA)
  • Relevant engineering qualification at Level 3 or above
  • At least 2 years of experience in assessing engineering apprentices
  • Experience in conducting internal quality assurance activities
  • Experience within related industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Verifier qualification (e.g., V1, IQA)
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS)
