Job Description
Job Duties:
- Conduct assessments of engineering apprentices in accordance with awarding body standards
- Ensure all assessment activities are carried out efficiently and effectively
- Provide constructive feedback to apprentices to support their learning and development
- Conduct internal quality assurance (IQA) activities to ensure assessment processes are robust and consistent
- Maintain accurate records of assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve assessment processes and standards
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA)
- Relevant engineering qualification at Level 3 or above
- At least 2 years of experience in assessing engineering apprentices
- Experience in conducting internal quality assurance activities
- Experience within related industries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Verifier qualification (e.g., V1, IQA)
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS)
